Our families are worried that we don’t feed ourselves well, so here’s a little overview of things we have ingested over the past 3 months since we left 😛 Cesar did start loosing his pants and had to add a couple more holes to his belt… but as you can see it’s really not because we haven’t been eating !

    You guys are funny…. I cried with some pictures of yours…. Cesar upset about Brazilian restaurant being closed; Ieva looked super stuffed when ordered too much food; Cesar in a tiny little table; and with a giant fried octopus skewer!!!! Hhahahahahha… Loved every single pictures…. Although to eat that food in Mongolia with some dirty-broken-and-possibly-smelly foot one needs to be courageous!!!! Well done guys!!!!….

    É sempre um prazer poder apreciar comidas de diferentes lugares do mundo, muitas são exóticas, mas a maioria são de dar água na boca! Ficamos felizes de saber que vocês estão se alimentando muito bem e que comida boa sempre tem em qualquer lugar desse mundo. Muitas felicidades sempre pra vocês queridos.

    got me hungry 😀 most of it looks yummy! what was the weirdest you ate? (remember in south east asia your fried meat dish with red ants 😉 )
    i totally understand cesar missing some european food, we had the same in Japan (the food there is awesome, but eating rice three times a day can be hard for our european mouths ^^), so we ended up eating a few not so delicious pizzas, and even once or twice at mac donalds, which we NEVER go to in Europe !!

    @Nadia: glad you liked it 🙂 We had fun with the food, although actually the hardest part was China, not Mongolia! The Mongolian food is very simple but somehow closer to ours, whereas the Chinese one… well let’s say we don’t miss it yet ;P

    @Meme: Well we didn’t eat that many weird things (maybe the weirdest was chicken feet – pretty tasty actually :P). In general, China appeared pretty modern to us, and the Chinese we met told us that only weird/old people eat dogs or insects anymore hehe. There was however one very horribly smelling street food – called “smelly tofu” – we didn’t manage to force ourselves to try. Smells something like cooked horse sweat… YUK!! We became less and less tolerant to that smell with every day we spent there lol. So the red ants is still the weirdest food I tried 😀
